YOU ARE A SELECTED FINALIST FOR OUR DECEMBER NYAXE/EMERSON GALLERY SHOW IN CALIFORNIA!

I just wanted to let you know you are one of 18 distinguished finalists that were selected by our jury panel for the December 10th NYAXE Gallery Exhibition. We have renamed the gallery the "Emerson Gallery", but the venue and spirit remains the same.

"This time I was part of the selection jury. I must say it was an excellent jury, consisting of 5 representatives from world-class institutions. We worked very diligently at viewing and scoring the contestants and arriving at a series of winners and finalists. It is never an easy process, and all of us were impressed with the quality of work.

This performance and fine art event will be a downtown NYC style extravaganza heavily influenced by the early work of John Waters, Devine, The Cockettes and Sylvester. The evening will feature celebrated local performance artists such as: Simon Donovan, Rebecca Horton, Tammy West, and Kim Olsen. The evening will be an interactive video event celebrating the life and work of NYC/Philadelphia drag legend Needles Jones and will be hosted by her sidekick MoonDoggie Israel.

In the tradition of Hoffman's "Art Happenings" MoonFire Tower brings together for one night only exciting artists to share their experiences and talent.
